Obverse description Janiform double head of Culsan, the Etruscan deity, depicted wearing a petasos, facing in opposite directions. The double portrait is rendered in a bold, archaic Etruscan style characteristic of the aes grave coinage of this period, with the two facing profiles set within a roughly square incuse field. The heavy cast flan shows the characteristic irregular surface typical of struck Etruscan bronze issues of the early third century BC.
