| Obverse description | Central field features an upright khanda (double-edged sword) flanked symmetrically by two flowering branches, rendered in fine relief. Below the sword, the Devanagari legend reads 'अशर्फी नेपाली' (Asarphi Nepal), denoting the denomination and issuing state. The design is framed within a stylised lotus-petal border of twelve lobes, each separated by small square ornamental devices. The repeated honorific Devanagari inscription 'श्री' appears in the lobes surrounding the central motif, a traditional Nepali royal salutation. The entire composition is enclosed by a fine milled border. |
