Reverse description Central field occupied by the two-line Latin inscription CAPITVLVM BRIXINENSE, arranged within an unadorned rectangular panel. Surrounding this central panel is a wreath-like arrangement of eight armorial shields of the cathedral canons, each set within baroque cartouches and separated by decorative foliate ornaments. A mitred crown appears at the apex of the composition. The Roman numeral date MDCCLXXIX is inscribed in small characters along the lower exergual area. The reverse design mirrors the heraldic richness of the obverse in style and execution.
