Reverse description The denomination is displayed prominently across the central field in three lines: the fraction 1½ at the top flanked by small rosette ornaments, the word PFENNIG in large bold letters across the middle, and the date 1799 below, with a small rosette ornament at the bottom. The inscription is rendered in a characteristic late 18th-century German typographic style. The milled border frames the design cleanly, consistent with Saalfeld Mint production of the period.
