| Obverse description | Hammered copper flan bearing bold Arabic script legend in the field, identifying the ruler Muzaffar Shah II (Shams al-Dunya wa'l-Din Muzaffar Shah) who reigned AH 917–932. The inscription is executed in a cursive Naskh-influenced style typical of Gujarat Sultanate coinage, arranged across the field in multiple lines. The surfaces display characteristic green cuprite patination with areas of brown oxidation consistent with age and circulation. The irregular flan edge reflects the hand-struck production method standard for this series. |
