| Obverse description | Hammered copper flan of irregular round shape bearing bold Arabic calligraphic inscription in the field, arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line. The upper portion displays the abjad numeral 777 in large, deeply struck characters. The lower register features a decorative comb-like or toothed ornamental device rendered in relief. The coin surface exhibits natural patination with areas of green cuprite and earthen deposits consistent with circulation and burial. The rim is plain and irregular, typical of hammered Sultanate copper coinage. |
