背面描述 The reverse features a symmetrical arrangement of orchestral instruments emblematic of the Vienna Philharmonic, including a prominent French horn at the left, a bassoon and clarinet at the center, a concert harp at the right, and four violins fanned outward across the lower field with a cello at the center. The word SILBER appears in small lettering at the top center of the field, while the curved legend WIENER PHILHARMONIKER arcs along the upper rim in the distinctive stylized script associated with the series. The composition is dynamic yet balanced, celebrating the musical heritage of the world-renowned orchestra.

附加信息

The 1½ Euro denomination was introduced specifically to give the Vienna Philharmonic silver coin a face value denominated in euros without abandoning the one-troy-ounce silver format — a compromise driven by EU monetary regulations that prohibit member states from issuing legal tender coins with face values that directly compete with circulating currency. Austria had previously issued the one-ounce silver Philharmonic as a 1.50 Euro piece beginning in 2008, sidestepping the issue entirely by choosing a value no circulation coin would ever occupy.

Mintages fluctuate sharply year to year depending on silver spot prices and wholesale demand from bullion dealers, with certain dates seeing authorized mintages left partially unfilled.
