| 备注 |
The Bank of Shansi, Chahar & Hopei was the financial arm of the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Region, one of the most militarily significant Communist-held territories during the civil war period. By 1947, the border region currency system was already under pressure from Nationalist blockades and the inflationary chaos affecting all Chinese paper money at the time — the 1,000 Yuan denomination reflects how rapidly purchasing power had eroded even within Communist-administered zones.
Front proofs of border region notes are considerably scarcer than issued examples, most of which were aggressively circulated and are found heavily worn. A proof survivor from this printer run is the exception.
