Reverse description The reverse is divided into two halves: the right half bears the official emblem of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in colorized relief, while the left half features a spray of cherry blossoms (sakura) above a latent image of ginkgo leaves, the prefectural tree of Tokyo, rendered with color application. The design is surrounded by a circular legend bearing the name of the games and the year and denomination. The date in the Japanese imperial calendar, '平成30年' (Year 30 of Heisei, corresponding to 2018), appears within the surrounding inscription.
