Reverse description The reverse presents a finely engraved proof landscape scene set within a circular inner frame against a mirror-polished black field. The central motif depicts a solitary pine tree standing tall on a coastal plain, a symbol of endurance and survival referencing the famous lone surviving pine of Rikuzentakata following the 2011 tsunami. Rocky coastal formations and cranes in flight are visible in the middle and background, rendered with exceptional detail. The legend がんばろう日本 (Let's do our best, Japan) arcs along the upper border, flanked by raised dots, while the reign era date 平成27年 (Year 27 of Heisei) is inscribed in relief along the lower border.
