背面描述 The coloured central device portrays Honohon, the official mascot of the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, depicted as a stylised flame-spirit figure in red and white, waving with one hand and bearing the Games emblem on its torso. A vibrant multicoloured background of stylised flames and waves rendered in polychrome enamel fills the inner field, accentuating the mascot's dynamic posture. The arc legend '20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026' curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination '1000 YEN' is inscribed to the lower left. The Japanese era date 令和8年 (Reiwa 8) appears along the lower field in Japanese characters.

附加信息

Japan's bid to host the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya was accepted by the Olympic Council of Asia in 2019, making it the third time Japan has hosted the event after Hiroshima 1994 and Bangkok — though Bangkok is Thailand, so more precisely: Hiroshima remains the only previous Japanese host city. The games were originally scheduled to open in September 2026 across venues spread between Nagoya and surrounding Aichi Prefecture municipalities.

Japan Mint commemorative silver issues of this format are struck under authority of the Ministry of Finance and sold through official lottery-based subscription — walk-in purchases are not available at point of issue.
