Obverse description The obverse depicts the Hungarian royal regalia in high relief: the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen dominates the right side, while the royal sceptre and orb are shown to the left, with a sword crossing behind them. The border is decorated with an ornamental scroll motif, and an engraver's signature appears in the lower field.
