A Hangul legend arcing along the upper border reads '조선로동당창건50돐' (50th Anniversary of the Founding of the Korean Workers' Party). The denomination '1000원' appears in the lower field, with the commemorative date range '1945–1995' inscribed on a scroll-form ribbon at the base, all framed by a laurel wreath along the inner border. |
