The curved tiled rooflines and bracketed eaves of the historic structure are rendered with considerable architectural precision. The arched legend REPUBLIC OF KOREA curves along the upper periphery, while the inscriptions SEOUL and GREAT SOUTH GATE are arranged in two lines across the lower field beneath the gate. |
