Reverse description A highly detailed coiled snake rendered in high relief occupies the central field, its body tightly wound and its head raised with forked tongue extended, the finely engraved scales conveying naturalistic texture. The serpent rests upon a shallow curved exergual line beneath which the date '2025' is inscribed. The central motif is encircled by an ornate interlaced decorative border of stylised foliate and knotwork patterns rendered in fine line engraving against the burnished field.

Additional information

Mongolia's lunar series issues are struck in limited quantities for the collector market, with distribution handled primarily through international bullion and numismatic wholesalers rather than domestic channels. The .9999 fineness aligns with standards set by major refineries in the 2000s — a purity threshold that older gold coinages rarely met.
