| Obverse description | At center, the national arms of Mongolia depicting the soyombo symbol above a lotus base with a horse and rider, all enclosed within a circular beaded border. The legend MONGOLIA arcs along the upper field in Latin script, while the denomination 1000 appears in large numerals along the lower field.
