| Mô tả mặt trước | Central device features the arms of the Bank of Mongolia: a circular cartouche surmounted by a flame and crescent finial, enclosing the cursive legend 'Монгол Банк' above an ornate interlaced knot, all supported by a wreath of lotus blossoms. Traditional Mongolian script appears in two vertical columns flanking the central emblem in the field to the left and right. The denomination '1000' in large numerals and 'ТӨГРӨГ' appear prominently in the lower field. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed border. |

| Thông tin bổ sung |
Part of a broader series of Mongolian wildlife gold minors issued in the mid-2000s, these fractional pieces were struck primarily for the collector and bullion markets rather than domestic circulation — Mongolia had no tradition of gold coinage in everyday commerce. The 1/25 oz format was a deliberate nod to international fractional bullion conventions of the period, aimed squarely at foreign buyers.
KM# 250 is frequently confused with companion issues from the same series due to inconsistent documentation in early auction records.
