| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse, which forms the primary decorative face of this three-dimensional shaped coin, depicts a charming tiger in a recumbent pose, resting with its forepaws extended forward and its head raised to face the viewer directly. The feline is rendered in a stylized, endearing manner with large expressive eyes, a broad muzzle with visible teeth, and engraved stripe detailing across the body and tail. The entire sculptural surface is finished in a silk matte gold plating, accentuating the coin's three-dimensional, figurine-like form. The design commemorates the Chinese Lunar Year of the Tiger. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Mongolia has issued a long-running series of lunar-themed collector coins, and the Tiger issue falls within the Chinese zodiac cycle that Mongolian state minting has pursued aggressively since the 2000s as a hard-currency export product. These coins are sold almost exclusively to foreign collectors and never circulate domestically. The KM#435a designation distinguishes the gold-plated variant from the plain silver strike catalogued separately.
