The P#67 series spans an unusually long production window — fourteen years across multiple print runs, which introduced subtle but catalogable variations in ink saturation and thread placement. Mongolbank has contracted different security printers over the decades, and not all runs are definitively attributed in the literature.
The 1000 Tögrög sits at a denomination that bore real purchasing weight during the early 2000s Mongolian commodity boom, when copper and cashmere export revenues reshaped the domestic economy. By the series' end in 2017 it had been superseded by higher denominations as inflation eroded its practical value.
