| Obverse description | Green and multicolor note with a fine guilloche underprint throughout. An intaglio portrait of Admiral Miguel Grau occupies the right portion of the note, with his name inscribed vertically along the right margin. The Peruvian national coat of arms appears as a central vignette above the denomination legend "MIL SOLES DE ORO", flanked by an ornate watermark window at left and the date "5 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 1981" printed in red below. Three facsimile signatures appear across the lower centre, attributed to the Director, Presidente, and Gerente General. |
