| Aanvullende informatie |
Queen Mary — Mary I of England — reigned from 1553 to 1558, and her inclusion on a Ugandan commemorative of this period reflects the broad licensing of royal portrait subjects through the Westminster Collection and similar distributors that flooded the market with thematic silver issues throughout the 1990s. Uganda's central bank authorized dozens of such pieces during this decade, few of which saw any domestic circulation.
