| Reverse description | The reverse presents a highly detailed, high-relief rendering of Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology, depicted rearing in a three-quarter frontal stance with its large feathered wings fully spread to either side. The musculature and flowing mane and tail of the creature are rendered with exceptional sculptural detail, with selectively blackened recessed areas enhancing the three-dimensional effect. The ground beneath the figure features stylised rippling water lines and scattered rocky elements. The legend PEGASUS is incused in large letters along the lower left field, while the date 2022 appears in small characters at the upper border of the field. |
