附加信息

Uganda's 1000-shilling denomination was introduced as part of a broader recoinage prompted by the country's 50th independence anniversary in 2012, replacing older circulating issues that had accumulated decades of design inconsistency across multiple political regimes — from Idi Amin's currency manipulations through the monetary chaos of the Obote II period and into the relative stability of Museveni's long tenure.
