| Описание аверса | The Ugandan national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield supported by a kob antelope to the left and a grey crowned crane to the right, both standing on a grassy mound. The shield is quartered and features a traditional drum, the River Nile and sun motif, and a Uganda kob, with a spear and hoe crossed behind it. A scroll at the base bears the national motto FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY. The legend BANK OF UGANDA arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by the split date 19 and 99 in the left and right fields respectively.
