| Obverse description | A finely detailed view of the Austrian Parliament building in Vienna, rendered in high relief, occupies the central field. In the lower left foreground, the Austrian shield (Bundeswappen) is depicted, partially overlaid by the denomination numeral 1000 and the legend SCHILLING arranged along the lower arc. To the lower right of the parliament facade, a sculptural group of a horse-tamer figure stands on a pedestal, referencing the famous statues flanking the parliament steps. The date 1995 appears in the lower right field, and the engraver's signature A. ZIERLER is inscribed in small letters at the lower left.
