| 背面描述 | The central vignette presents an intaglio panoramic view of Salzburg, with Hohensalzburg Fortress crowning the rocky hillside above the city's rooftops and church spires, framed by trees in the foreground. The left panel carries the denomination numeral "1000" in large figures alongside the "OeNB" monogram repeated in decorative cartouches above and below. The entire design is printed in dark green on a pale green guilloche underprint, enclosed within an ornate foliate border. |

| 备注 |
Austria emerged from World War II without a functioning central bank administration, and the Oesterreichische Nationalbank was formally re-established by the provisional government in July 1945. This note belongs to the first postwar series issued under that reconstituted authority — a high denomination at a moment when wartime inflation had already eroded purchasing power significantly.
Fritz Zerritsch der Jüngere was a Viennese sculptor and graphic artist whose design work for the ONB spanned several series. The 1945 issue was produced under difficult immediate postwar conditions, and early examples show inconsistent print quality as a result.
