| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Seychelles occupies the central field, depicting a shield bearing a sailing vessel at sea above a stylised landscape, supported by two marlins rampant and surmounted by an open hand holding three crossed arrows. The Latin motto FINIS·CORONAT·OPVS appears on the scroll at the base of the arms. The legend REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES arcs along the upper periphery, with the Creole equivalent REPIBLIK SESEL along the lower periphery, each flanked by a five-pointed star. The design is rendered in high-relief proof finish against a deeply mirrored field. |
