| Obverse description | At centre, the State Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation rendered in high relief: a double-headed eagle displayed, wings elevated, each head crowned with a small imperial crown, the two surmounted by a larger crown connected by a ribbon; the dexter talon grasping a sceptre and the sinister an orb; upon the breast, an escutcheon depicting St. George on horseback in a cloak, slaying a prostrate dragon.
