| Obverse description | Against a deeply mirrored proof field, the Russian state emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, each head crowned and holding an orb and sceptre — occupies the central device. The denomination ОДНА ТЫСЯЧА РУБЛЕЙ (ONE THOUSAND ROUBLES) arcs across the upper field in bold Cyrillic lettering, while БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA) is inscribed below the eagle. A beaded inner border frames the design, and the lower portion of the field carries the inscriptions АU 999, the date 2013 г., and the weight indication 155,5, with the engraver's initials discreetly placed to the right of the eagle's tail. |
