Anmerkungen

Armenia's brief period of independence from 1918 to 1920 produced a fragmented currency system, with different branches of the Government Bank issuing notes under conditions of near-total institutional collapse. The Yerevan Branch notes of 1919 were printed locally under severe resource constraints — the technical quality reflects that directly, and ink strike consistency varies considerably within the series.

The 1000 Rouble denomination was the highest in this issue, appearing as the Armenian Republic was simultaneously fighting border conflicts with Georgia, Azerbaijan, and irregular Ottoman forces. Soviet absorption in late 1920 rendered the entire series void almost immediately after peak circulation.
