| 裏面の説明 | The Black Bull of Clarence is depicted in bold heraldic relief, standing passant and supporting with its foreleg the quartered shield of arms associated with Edward IV, Richard III, and the sovereigns of the Houses of Lancaster and Tudor. The beast is rendered with strong sculptural detail, its tail raised and body turned to emphasise its heraldic bearing. The date 2018 and the inscription BLACK BULL OF CLARENCE appear in a legend surrounding the central device, with the engraver's initials JC incorporated into the design. This reverse forms part of the Royal Mint's Queen's Beasts series of collector issues. |
