Obverse description Triple portrait vignette at left centre shows the front-facing busts of national heroes José Abad Santos, Josefa Llanes Escoda, and Vicente Lim rendered in intaglio. An eternal flame motif framed by laurel leaves appears at right, with the bank seal positioned at right centre against a fine guilloche underprint.

Reverse description A sweeping intaglio vignette of the UNESCO-listed Banaue Rice Terraces fills the left portion, with the caption HAGDAN-HAGDANG PALAYAN NG BANAWE below. At centre-right, the lid of the Manunggul Jar — a pre-colonial burial vessel surmounted by two figures in a boat — is set above a vignette of a traditional Langgal (Muslim prayer house), with radiating guilloche lines behind. Denomination numerals appear in the upper left and upper right corners, with SANLIBONG PISO in a guilloche band along the lower margin.

The 2007 dating is scarce enough to trade at a meaningful premium over adjacent years — limited printing runs during signature transition periods are a recurring feature of BSP high-denomination issues, and collectors have learned to check dates carefully on this series. The abacá fiber content is a deliberate nod to a Philippine export crop with centuries of use in specialty papers, though by this period the blend was primarily a security measure rather than a cost decision.

The [2009*] bracket in the signature data reflects a listed combination that has never been confirmed in a verified example — Aquino III assumed office in mid-2010, making a 2009-dated note with his signature a technical impossibility.
