Obverse description	At left centre, intaglio-printed busts of national heroes José Abad Santos, Vicente Lim, and Josefa Llanes Escoda are arranged in a forward-facing vignette against a guilloche underprint in violet and amber tones. A commemorative vignette at lower left references the Centennial Celebration of Philippine Independence. Denomination numerals and bilingual legends appear in the surrounding guilloche border.
