| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an intaglio vignette of the Palacio Nacional in Santo Domingo, its neoclassical facade, grand staircase, and central dome rendered against a red and rose guilloche underprint. The circular seal and BCRD monogram of the Banco Central de la República Dominicana are positioned to the left, flanked by a watermark window and floral ornament, while the large numeral 1000 and denomination text occupy the lower right with two facsimile signature lines below.
