| Obverse description | Intaglio-printed portrait of General José de San Martín occupies the right portion of the note, labeled "Gral. SAN MARTIN" beneath, set against a multicolored guilloche underprint in teal, purple, and gold tones. At center, the denomination "MIL" appears in bold letterpress within an elaborate rosette guilloche, above the legend "Pesos Argentinos".
