| 备注 |
This note's extended run — from the tail end of the Pinochet dictatorship through nearly two decades of democratic government — means signature combinations serve as the most reliable dating tool within the series. The 1982 pairing is particularly noted: Miguel Kast, then president of the Banco Central, died of cancer in 1983 at thirty-four, making his signature on circulating currency an unintended rarity within the run.
Engraver William Marks Simpson was a British-trained intaglio specialist whose work appears across several Latin American issues of this period. The Casa de Moneda de Chile handled both design execution and printing entirely in-house, which was not universal among regional central banks at the time.
