Opmerkingen

Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. held the contract for several Banco de España issues during the 1920s, and this 1928 1000 Pesetas was among the more ambitious commissions — high-value notes of this denomination were printed in relatively small quantities and handled primarily by banks rather than the general public. "Replica" status means this example was produced for display, archival, or educational purposes, typically with SPECIMEN or MUESTRA overprinting or punch cancellation, though practice varied by issuer and era.

Pick 77 is not a rare type in replica form; genuine circulated survivors are the harder find.
