Pick 47 is a known problematic series for collectors precisely because replica and facsimile versions circulate almost as freely as genuine survivors. The 1876 Banco de España 1000 Pesetas issue had an extremely limited original print run, and the FNMT — the same state printing works that produced the originals — later produced official facsimiles for archival and display purposes, which complicates authentication considerably.
This example is cataloged explicitly as a replica. Provenance documentation matters more here than condition.
