Additional information

Western Sahara has no internationally recognized government and no functioning monetary system — these pieces were produced entirely for the collector market by private entities exploiting the territory's nominal status. The "1000 Pesetas" denomination has no relation to any circulating currency.

Gagarin completed his single orbit of Earth on April 12, 1961, in a flight lasting 108 minutes. He never flew in space again; he died in a MiG-15 training crash in March 1968.
