Obverse description The national arms of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic occupies the central field, depicting two crossed rifles surmounted by a crescent and star, flanked on each side by a wreath of olive branches, with an Arabic-inscribed ribbon below. The bilingual circular legend reads 'REPUBLICA SAHARAUI' in Latin script along the upper left and the Arabic equivalent 'الجمهورية الصحراوية' along the upper right, separated by five-pointed stars. The denomination '1000' appears at lower right with the Arabic currency designation 'بسيطة صحراوية' below, all struck on a proof-like mirrored field.
