A dark brown letterpress outer frame with a scalloped decorative border encloses all text elements. The denomination '1000 Mark' appears at upper left, with a serial number at upper right; the issuer's title 'Staatliche Berginspektion am Deister' is set in bold Gothic script across the upper portion, followed by the voucher text and the large denomination legend 'EINTAUSEND MARK' in the centre. Two circular official ink stamps, each bearing an eagle above crossed mining hammers, flank two handwritten authorisation signatures in the lower portion, with the validity clause 'Nur gültig bis zum 31. März 1923' along the bottom. |

The large numeral '1000' is printed as a pale brown underprint in the centre, overlaid with three crossed-hammer mining vignettes at upper left, upper right, and centre; the issuer name 'Staatliche Berginspektion am Deister' and place name 'Barsinghausen' are set in dark brown Gothic letterpress at the top, with the voucher legend 'Gutschein über EINTAUSEND MARK' in bold across the middle and the validity clause 'Nur gültig bis zum 31.
