Reverse description The central vignette, printed in fine intaglio-style letterpress in black and gold on a blue ground, shows a half-length portrait of a prince-provost in full episcopal regalia — mitre, crosier held in the left hand, pectoral cross, and a document inscribed with the dates 1111 and 1803 held in the right hand. This central panel is flanked on both sides by two diagonal white lozenges, each carrying the repeated denomination '1000 MARK' in alternating gold and dark blue letterpress against a dark blue triangular ground. A caption panel beneath the central vignette carries the identifying inscription in black letterpress.
