背面描述 A dignified bust-length portrait of the celebrated Turkmen lyric poet Mollanepes faces slightly left, wearing a traditional tall fur papakha hat and a beard, rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished field. The name MOLLANEPES arcs prominently across the upper field in bold Latin lettering. To the left of the portrait, a dove in flight carrying an olive branch is depicted in low relief. A decorative floral and olive branch motif appears at the lower right of the portrait. The denomination 1000 MANAT is inscribed to the right of the bust, and the poet's birth and death years 1810 and 1862 appear in two lines at the lower left. The entire design is framed by an ornate floral border ring.

附加信息

Mollanepes was an 18th-century Turkmen poet whose work circulated almost entirely in oral tradition before being committed to manuscript, making him a nationalist cultural touchstone when Turkmenistan was constructing its post-Soviet identity in the 1990s and early 2000s. This coin belongs to a broader commemorative program launched under Saparmurat Niyazov — "Turkmenbashi" — who aggressively weaponized Turkmen historical and literary figures to legitimize his personality cult and assert a pre-Russian national heritage.

The series was produced in tiny quantities for collector and diplomatic distribution, not circulation.
