Obverse description The obverse features the national symbols of Turkmenistan: a large crescent moon occupying the right portion of the field, accompanied by five five-pointed stars arranged in a diagonal cluster to the left. The denomination '1000 MANAT' is inscribed in two lines at the lower left of the field, and the date '2000' appears in the exergue along the lower rim, all rendered in a polished proof finish against a frosted background.
