| Obverse description | Green and brown guilloche underprint covers the entire field, divided into a grid-like panel arrangement. A blank watermark window occupies the left portion, below which a vignette of the Cedar of Lebanon appears in grey intaglio. The large numeral '١٠٠٠' in orange-gold dominates the centre-right, accompanied by Arabic serial numbers above and two signature lines with Arabic titles ('الحاكم' and 'نائب الحاكم الأول') in the lower centre. The bank title 'مصرف لبنان' is inscribed in Arabic script at upper right, with a stylised green cedar tree vignette at far upper right, and Braille dots are present at lower left. |
