The alternation between two printing facilities — the Istituto Poligrafico's Officina Carte-Valori and the Banca d'Italia's own in-house Officina — across different signature dates of the same type is worth noting. Both operated in Rome, but output from each can sometimes be distinguished by subtle ink and paper texture variations, though the catalog treats them as a single type. The July 1963 date carries a documented catalog error: the correctly attested date is 5 July, not the 15th as some references give.
