Obverse description	The obverse is dominated by a central guilloche underprint in pale tones, with the bank title БЪЛГАРСКАТА НАРОДНА БАНКА and the denomination ХИЛЯДА ЛЕВА ЗЛАТНИ printed in large Cyrillic letterpress. A vignette portrait of Tsar Ferdinand I in military uniform occupies the right side, set within an ornate frame. The Bulgarian state coat of arms appears at lower center, flanked by the numeral 1000 at each lower corner, with two signature lines for the Управитель (Governor) and Касиеръ (Cashier) below the central text.

Reverse description	The reverse is printed in a multicolored scheme of deep red, green, and cream, with elaborate interlaced guilloche borders filling all four corners and side panels. A large central rectangular panel carries the denomination ХИЛЯДА ЛЕВА in bold decorative Cyrillic script over a fine guilloche underprint. The numeral 1000 appears in each lower corner and at the top center within ornamental cartouches, while ЛЕВА panels are set symmetrically at upper left and upper right.
