| Reverse description | The reverse presents a vignette of the Vasil Levski monument situated in central Sofia, set against a decorative guilloche underprint. To the right, a compositional vignette groups a pistol, a dagger, and a Christian cross resting upon a Gospel — the symbolic objects used in the initiation oath ceremony of Levski's Internal Revolutionary Organisation. Beneath, a facsimile of Levski's written oath from the Bucharest general meeting of 16 June 1872 is reproduced in Cyrillic script, with the denomination and anti-counterfeiting warning inscribed along the lower margin. |
