Obverse description The obverse presents a State Treasury Bond (Държавен Съкровищен Бонъ) of the Kingdom of Bulgaria (Царство България), printed in brown on a cream ground with an elaborate guilloche border. At upper centre the denomination 1000 appears in the top panel, repeated at all four corners, while the central text block details the bond terms: a capital of 1000 leva, 3% interest of 60 leva, and a total redemption value of 1060 leva, with maturity date of 5 July 1946. Two manuscript signatures appear at foot, those of the Chief Director of State Debts at left and the Minister of Finance at right, below which the issue date Sofia, 5 July 1944 is printed.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in brown on cream paper and carries an extensive legal text at the top explaining the statutory basis of the bond issue, referencing the State Gazette of 9 February 1942. Below this, a large tabular interest-accrual schedule headed СТОЙНОСТ (Value) sets out the redemption values at 3% annual interest payable on the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month from July 1944 through July 1946. The guilloche border mirrors that of the obverse, with the denomination 1000 repeated in all four corners and in the top and bottom centre panels.
