Reverse description The central panel presents an allegorical multi-figure composition — 'Allegory of Abundance' after Ivan Murkvichka — executed in fine intaglio engraving, flanked on each side by large numeral '1000' counters set within elaborate guilloche rosettes. The bank title in French runs along the upper border, while penalty clauses in Cyrillic appear at lower left and right, and the denomination in Cyrillic is repeated along the lower edge.
Reverse lettering Хиляда Лева Banque Nationale de Bulgarie За подправка виновнитѣ се наказватъ съгласно чл. 183 и 191 отъ наказателния законъ.
